The giants crushed me
Underfoot
Where kaleidescope dreams crash into splattered
Hopes

Mingling with the rest of the world
And wondering where the hell my cards went
The ones I was dealt

I've got nothing up my sleeve
Dragging toward what's in store for me--

Feeling what I should have felt years ago
Frozen up and melting away . . .

Thawing.

A fire inside is melting me
